Community service is essential to the life of White Meadow Temple, providing congregants with the opportunity to fulfill the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam, making the world a better place by helping those in need. Your involvement is the vital element in turning these opportunities into events that provide tangible benefits to those in need.
Whether it is a local, national, or international issue, we find ways to get involved and fulfill our obligation to repair the world through mitzvot, education, and advocacy. We perform mitzvot through social action projects, and we host educational forums with speakers from near and far who engage us in discussions of issues of the day. We take a stand, together, for civil rights, public education, and justice.
