America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial Times to Today

November 14, 7:00PM: We join together as a community to view & discuss a virtual program with acclaimed teacher & popular lecturer Pamela Nadell discussing her new book: “America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial times to Today,” a book that uncovers what it has meant to be a Jewish woman in American by weaving together the stories of remarkable individuals. Learn how they and scores of women maintained their Jewish identities as they wrote themselves into American history.

Pamela Nadell holes the Patrick Clendenen Chair in Women’s and Gender History & is the Director of the Jewish Studies Program at American University in Washington D.C.
